What does it do?

It basically creates an FDT project with files and folders you specify. You do this through XML templates. It also allows you to specify a repository to retrieve which ever files you require. The repositories supported are Subversion and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (VSS). Included with the plug-in is a very useful Version Injector wizard. Useful for versioning your classes or if you use a Version class as a central point of managing build versions, class versions etc.

All the info about this plug-in is available at http://fwk.wezside.co.za.If you want to go straight for installing then use the update manager in Eclipse (Help -> Software updates ->Find and install) and add a new remote site http://fwk.wezside.co.za/update.

And the pre-release, what's that all about?

Not all testing is completed so we can't guarantee perfect functionality. Also, this is a private plug-in developed to help me manage setting up projects for contractors to ensure the same structure is followed for all projects we do. So we had to makes some changes to allow for more flexibility, and these features haven't been fully tested. But because I had some interest from quite a few friends to release it, I decided now would be a good time.
